Violin Open Strings

 

I'd now like to look at a tune called 'Ballad'. Ballad is all about using notes on the A string and the  E string.  It's about using notes on 2 strings and getting the arm position right in changing from 1 string to the next. In this tune I like to make sure that my students get good difference between the level of the bow on the A string and the level of the bow on the E string.

Also in this tune we are using different count notes, so we have some 1 count, 2 and 4 count notes. Hope you enjoy, here is a tune called 'Ballad'.
